It's raining, it's pouring..that's how it was today in Istanbul and seems it will not go away any time soon. This morning, Ege and I put on our rain boots (his so-called "frog boots") , grabbed our umbrellas and headed to his school. So what, you might say..Well, here in the big city of Istanbul we don't walk (and we don't jog either), okay, there are some few who do walk, that is to get fresh Bosphorus (our well-known Strait between Black Sea and Marmara) air, but other than that no thanks, we have our fancy expensive cars to ride us around :) Just like that, we got out in the pouring rain (more than pouring say showering) and it was sooo cool! :) to feel the brisk air, fresh smells from the gardens, rooomantic!......
But I have to admit this romance cannot last for long or else gimme a medal pliiz! I plan to keep on walking him to school till month's end and register him to the school shuttle next month onwards, but as we put it:
"you can't rely on the weather AND the girls of Istanbul!" :D
